Abstract
In recent years, China's food security has been facing an increasingly severe situation due to the impact of multiple factors, such as the COVID-19, the complex situation of international trade, and the uncertainty of climate change. It is especially important to figure out the overall situation of China's main grain-producing areas and reveal the spatial and temporal differentiation characteristics of non-grain cultivated land and its driving factors. Jiangsu Province is an important grain-producing area in China, and Xuzhou City ranks one of the top of Jiangsu Province in terms of grain sown area and total grain production, which is very crucial for preventing the non-grain cultivated land in Jiangsu Province. In this paper, Xuzhou City is selected as the study area, and the spatial autocorrelation analysis is used to analyze the spatial and temporal characteristics of non-grain in Xuzhou City, and 14 driving factors are selected to construct the indicator system of non-grain on arable land by combining Xuzhou City's location conditions, natural factors, socio-economic situation and policy factors. With the help of geo-detector, we explore the driving mechanism of cropland "non-food", reveal the intrinsic causes of non-grain cultivated land, and put forward the problems of non-grain cultivated land and the targeted measures to address them.We hope that this will serve as a reference for preventing non-grain cultivated land.
